Winner of the 2010 Laurence Olivier Award for Outstanding Achievement in Dance, Rambert Dance Company is Britain’s national company for contemporary dance.
This triple bill includes a brand new work by UK choreographer Aletta Collins. Inspired by Dr Oliver Sacks' book, made famous by the 1990 Hollywood film, Awakenings is the first dance interpretation of these remarkable stories. To accompany this energetic and emotional work, Rambert has commissioned a passionate, lyrical and theatrical score by celebrated American composer Tobias Picker.
